Ta dokument zajema ugotavljanje približne vrednosti enoosne tlačne trdnosti kvadratnega ali valjastega z vodo zasičenega homogenega vzorca nespremenjene ali preoblikovane kohezivne zemljine, ki ima dovolj nizko prepustnost, da ostaja nedrenirana med izvedbo preskusa v okviru geotehničnih preiskav v skladu s prEN 1997-1 in -2. Enoosna tlačna trdnost kohezivnih zemljin je merilo navidezne kohezije. Kohezivna zemljina se obnaša kot resnično kohezivna, npr. glina in glinene zemljine, vendar se večina zemljin v tej skupini obnaša kohezivno zaradi negativnega pornega tlaka in trenja in ne zaradi dejanske kohezije. Metoda ni primerna za razpokane ali pasovite gline, mulj in šoto.
