This Draft European Standard specifies a method of verification of testing machines for determining Rockwell hardness (scales A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,K,N,T) in accordance with EN 10109-1. It describes a direct verification method for checking the main functions of the machine and an indirect verification method suitable for the overall checking of the machine. The indirect verification method may be used on its own for periodic routine checking of the machine in in service.

In dieser Europäischen Norm ist das Verfahren für die Prüfung von Härteprüfgmaschinen zur Bestimmung der Rockwellhärte (Skalen A,B,C,D,E,F,G, H,K,N, T) nach EN 10109-1 festgelegt. In dieser Norm sind ein direktes Prüfverfahren zur Prüfung von Hauptfunktionen der Maschine und ein indirektes Prüferfahren, das für die Ermittlung der Gesamtabweichung der Maschine geeignet ist, beschrieben. Das indirekte Prüfverfahren kann für die regelmässige Routineüberprüfung der Maschine beim Anwender angewendet werden.

Elle décrit une méthode de vérification directe des principales fonctions de la machine et une méthode de vérification indirecte utilisée pour une vérification globale de la machine. La méthode de vérification indirecte peut être utilisée seule lorsqu'il s'agit d'une vérification périodique de routine des machines en service.
