This European Prestandard describes methods for determination of the properties of unshaped refractory materials from test pieces prepared and stored in accordance with prENV 1402-5 1). The methods complement those described in ENV 1402-6. The methods have been adapted from standards for shaped refractory products to make them applicable to dense and insulating castables, plastic materials and ramming mixes as defined in ENV 1402-1, before and after firing.

Diese Europäische Vornorm beschreibt Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von ungeformten feuerfesten Werkstoffen, die an nach prENV 1402-5 1) hergestellten und gelagerten Probekörpern ermittelt werden. Die Verfahren sind eine Ergänzung zu den in ENV 1402-6 beschriebenen. Die Verfahren wurden aus Normen für geformte feuerfeste Erzeugnisse adaptiert und so abgeändert, daß sie auf die in ENV 1402-1 festgelegten dichten und isolierenden Feuerbetone, plastischen Massen und Rammassen, im ungebrannten und gebrannten Zustand, anwendbar sind.

La présente prénorme européenne décrit des méthodes de détermination des propriétés de matériaux réfractaires non-façonnés sur des éprouvettes préparées et conservées conformément au pr ENV1402-5 1).Ces méthodes complètent celles décrites dansl'ENV 1402-6. Ces méthodes ont été adaptées à partir de normes sur les produits réfractaires façonnés afin de les appliquer aux bétons denses et isolants, aux matériaux plastiques et aux pisés définis dans l'ENV1402-1, avant et après cuisson.
