This document specifies the requirements for determining the maximum propulsion power rating using manoeuvring speed for engine-driven craft with a length of the hull (LH, as defined in ISO 8666) between 8 m and 24 m.
This document is applicable to craft with a calculated Froude number (Fn) ≥ 1,1.
This document is not applicable to:
— inflatable craft, as defined by ISO 6185-4;
— craft designed and constructed solely for competitive racing (racing craft);
— craft primarily designed not to be engine driven.
This document does not specify craft constructional strength requirements related to maximum propulsion power rating and does not guarantee stability under all conditions of seaway, wind, wakes and waves.

Dieses Dokument gilt für Wasserfahrzeuge mit einer berechneten Froude Zahl (Fn) ≥ 1,1.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für
— aufblasbare Wasserfahrzeuge nach ISO 6185 4,
— Wasserfahrzeuge, die ausschließlich für Wettkampfzwecke konstruiert und gebaut wurden (Rennfahrzeuge),
— Wasserfahrzeuge, die hauptsächlich für den nicht motorgetriebenen Betrieb gebaut wurden.
Dieses Dokument legt keine Anforderungen an die Festigkeit des Wasserfahrzeugs bezüglich der maximalen Vortriebsnennleistung fest und stellt nicht die Stabilität unter Seebedingungen, Wind, Kielwasser und Wellen sicher.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences relatives à la détermination de la puissance maximale déclarée de propulsion en utilisant la vitesse de manœuvre pour les bateaux à moteur d’une longueur de coque (LH telle que définie dans l’ISO 8666) comprise entre 8 m et 24 m.
Ce document est applicable aux bateaux dont le nombre de Froude calculé (Fn) ≥ 1,1.
Ce document n’est pas applicable aux:
— bateaux pneumatiques, tels que définis par l’ISO 6185-4;
— bateaux conçus et construits exclusivement pour la compétition (bateaux de course);

This document (EN ISO 11592-2:2021) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 "Small
craft" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 464 “Small Craft” the secretariat of which is
held by SIS.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2022, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2022.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
