This part of EN 12475 specifies the classification and designation of dense shaped basic refractory products containing equal to or more than 7% and less t than 30% residual carbon after coking. It is applicable to products with or without antioxidant additives, with or without metal plates and reinforcement. Note 1: EN 12475-2 covers the classification of dense shaped basic products containing less than 7 % carbon. Note 2: All bricks can be encased in metal plate and be reinforced by means of an internal metal plate.

Diese Norm ist anwendbar für Erzeugnisse mit oder ohne Antioxidantien-Zusatz und mit oder ohne Blechummantelung und Bewehrung. Anmerkung 1: EN 12475-2 dient der Klassifizierung dichter geformter basischer Erzeugnisse mit einem Massenanteil von kleiner als 7% Restkohlenstoff. Anmerkung 2: Alle Steine können eine Blechummantelung und eine Innenblecharmierung aufweisen.

La présente partie de la norme européenne EN 12475 établit la classification et la désignation des produits réfractaires basiques façonnés denses dont la teneur en carbone résiduel est égale ou supérieure à 7% et inférieure à 30%. Elle s'applique aux produits contenant ou non des additifs anti-oxydants et comportant ou non un tôlage et un renfort métallique. Note 1: La norme EN 12475-2 correspond à la classification des produits basiques façonnés denses contenant moins de 7% de carbone. Note 2: Toute brique peut être encastrée dans un tôlage et peut être renforcée par une plaque métallique interne.
