This European Standard specifies the properties and performance requirements for flexible rubber and plastics tubing and hoses up to a nominal bore of 12,5 for use with commercial propane and butane and mixtures thereof in the vapour phase on appliances, in environments between a minimum ambient temperature of -30°C and a maximum ambient temperature of +60°C. The tests detailed in this standard are also applicable to tubing and hoses which form part of an assembly, such as that used for connecting a cylinder to a regulator.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften und Leistungsanforderungen fest für flexible Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche mit und ohne Einlagen bis zu einem größten Nenndurchmesser von 12,5, die zur Verwendung mit handelsüblichem Propan und Butan und Gemischen daraus in der Gasphase an Geräten bei Umgebungstemperaturen von -30°C und höchstens +60°C bestimmt sind. Die in dieser Norm beschriebenen Prüfungen sind auch bei Schläuchen mit und ohne Einlagen anwendbar, die ein Teil einer Schlauchleitung sind, wie sie z.B. zur Verbindung einer Gasflasche mit einem Regler verwendet wird.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les propriétés et les exigences de performance des tubes et tuyaux en caoutchouc et en plastique ayant un diamètre nominal maximal de 12,5 et destinés à amener du propane et du butane commercial ainsi que leurs mélanges en phase vapeur à des appareils, à une température ambiante comprise entre un minimum de -30°C et un maximum de +60°C. Les essais détaillés dans la présente norme sont également applicables aux tubes et tuyaux constituant un flexible, comme ceux utilisés pour relier une bouteille à un détendeur.
