This European Standard describes a test for bitumen sheets with reinforcement to determine the flow properties of the coatings relative to the reinforcement at elevated temperature. The test is carried out on both the upper face and lower face of the sheet either at a specified temperature or consecutively at different temperatures in order to determine the heat resistance.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt Bestimmung des Ablaufverhaltens bei erhöhter Temperatur. Die Prüfung erfolgt sowohl an der Ober- als auch an der Unterseite der Bahn entweder bei einer vorgegebenen Temperatur oder nacheinander bei verschiedenen Temperaturen, um die Wärmestandfestigkeitsgrenze zu ermitteln. Die Prüfung kann somit zum Nachweis einer für ein Produkt geforderten Wärmestandfestigkeit oder zur Ermittlung der Wärmestandfestigkeitsgrenze für ein Produkt dienen, z.B. um die Veränderung dieses Verhaltens durch künstliche Alterungsverfahren festzustellen.

Cette norme europénne décrit l'essai visant à déterminer la résistance au fluage à température élevée des feuilles d'étanchéité bitumineuses. L'essai est effectué sur la face supérieure et sur la face inférieure de la feuille, soit à une température precrite, soit de manière répétée à différentes températures, afin de déterminer la limite de la résistance au fluage. L'essai permet ainsi d'attester pour un produit, la conformité à la résistance au fluage exigée ou de déterminer la limite de la résistance au fluage pour mettre par exemple en évidence la modification de cette caractéristique après vieillissement artificiel.
