This document is applicable to aluminium chloride anhydrous, aluminium chloride basic, dialuminium chloride pentahydroxide and aluminium chloride hydroxide sulfate used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics and specifies the requirements of aluminium chloride basic, polyaluminium chloride hydroxide and polyaluminium chloride hydroxide sulfate and refers to the corresponding analytical methods. It gives information for their use in water treatment. It also gives the usable rules relating to safe handling and use of these aluminium salts (see Annex B).

Dieses Dokument gilt für Aluminiumchlorid, wasserfrei, Aluminiumchlorid, basisch, Dialuminiumchlorid-pentahydroxid und Aluminiumchloridhydroxidsulfat zur Aufbereitung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch. Es beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Aluminiumchlorid, basisch, Polyaluminiumchloridhydroxid und Polyaluminiumchloridhydroxidsulfat und legt die Anforderungen für Aluminiumchlorid, basisch, Polyaluminiumchloridhydroxid und Polyaluminiumchloridhydroxidsulfat fest und verweist auf die entsprechenden Analysenverfahren. Es enthält Angaben zu deren Anwendung in der Wasseraufbereitung. Es enthält darüber hinaus brauchbare Regeln für die sichere Handhabung und Verwendung dieser Aluminiumsalze (siehe Anhang B).

Le présent document est applicable au chlorure d’aluminium anhydre, au chlorure d'aluminium basique, au pentahydroxychlorure de dialuminium et à l’hydroxychlorosulfate d’aluminium utilisés pour le traitement de l'eau destinée à la consommation humaine. Il décrit les caractéristiques et spécifie les prescriptions du chlorure d'aluminium basique, de l’hydroxychlorure de polyaluminium et de l’hydroxychlorosulfate de polyaluminium et donne la référence aux méthodes d'analyse correspondantes. Il donne des informations pour leur emploi dans le traitement de l'eau. Il donne également les règles applicables relatives à la sécurité d'emploi et de manipulation de ces sels d’aluminium (voir Annexe B).
