Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Trockenmassegehaltes von Zellstoffproben. Dieses Verfahren gilt für feuchte und lufttrockene Zellstoffe, die keine anderen flüchtigen Bestandteile bei einer vorgegebenen Temperatur enthalten als Wasser. Es wird beispielsweise auf Zellstoffproben für chemische und physikalische Prüfungen im Laboratorium angewendet, die eine übereinstimmende Festlegung des Trockenmassegehaltes verlangen.

This method is applicable to moist or air-dry pulp which does not contain any appreciable quantity of matter, other than water, volatile at the temperature specified for the drying. lt is used, for example, with pulp samples taken for Chemical and physical tests in the laboratory, which require concurrent determination of dry. matter content.
