This standard describes two methods for determination of air content of compacted fresh concrete, made with normal weight or relatively dense aggregate of maximum size 63 mm.

Die vorliegende Norm beschreibt zwei Verfahren für die Bestimmung des Luftgehaltes von verdichtetem Frischbeton, der mit normalem oder relativ dichtem Zuschlag mit einem Größtkorn bis 63 mm hergestellt wurde. ANMERKUNG: Für Beton, der mit Leichtzuschlag, luftgekühlter Hochofenschlacke oder Zuschlag mit hoher Porosität hergestellt wurde, ist keines der beiden Verfahren wegen der Größenordnung des Korrekturfaktors des Zuschlags, verglichen mit dem Luftporengehalt des Frischbetons anwendbar.

La présente norme décrit deux méthodes permettant de déterminer la teneur en air du béton frais compacté confectionné avec des granulats courants ou relativement denses de 63 mm maximum. NOTE: L'une comme l'autre de ces méthodes peut ne pas être applicable aux bétons de granulats légers, au laitier de haut-fourneau refroidi à l'air ou aux granulats de forte porosité, en raison de l'importance du facteur de correction lié au granulat par rapport à la teneur en air entraîné du béton.
