The 1st paragraph shall read now :
"This European Standard specifies ultrasonic acceptance levels, 2 and 3, for full penetration welded joints in ferritic steels, which corre-spond to the quality levels B and C of EN 25817. Other acceptance levels can be used by specification.".
The 3rd paragraph shall read now :
"These acceptance levels are applicable to testing carried out in accordance with the standards referred to in EN 12062.".

D'autres niveaux d'acceptation peuvent être définis par une spécification. ».
Le 3ème alinéa doit indiquer maintenant :
« Ces niveaux d'acceptation sont applicables aux contrôles effectués conformément aux normes référencées dans l'EN 12062. ».

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 1712:1997; it was approved by CEN on 1 May 2002.
