This European standard is applicable, in addition to EN 1726-1 to industrial trucks with vertical, non tilting mast. a) with an elevating operator position, as defined in 3.1.3.1.6 and 3.1.3.3 of ISO 5053:1987, where the elevating operator position and the load handling device lifts simultaneously to a height of more than 1200 mm above ground level and b) designed to travel indoors on smooth level and prepared surface with load handling device elevated more than 1200 mm above ground level as defined in 3.1.3.1.10 of ISO 5053:1987.

This European Standard applies to self-propelled industrial trucks including masted rough terrain trucks (see clause 3.1.3.1.8 of ISO 5053:1987) with removable and integrated attachments with a rated capacity up to and including 10 000 kg and to tractors with a rated drawbar pull up to and including 20 000 N.
