Measuring relays and protection equipment -- Part 11: Voltage dips, short interruptions, variations and ripple on auxiliary power supply port
This part of the IEC 60255 series specifies the general requirements for a.c. and d.c. power supplies, for measuring relays and protection equipment for power system protection, including the control, monitoring and process interface equipment used with those systems. This part is based on: - IEC 61000-4-11 for a.c. voltage dips, short interruptions and variations; - IEC 61000-4-17 for voltage ripple; - IEC 61000-4-29 for d.c. voltage dips, short interruptions and variations. The objective of the tests is to confirm that the equipment under test will operate correctly when energised and subjected to dips, interruptions and alternating components (ripple). The requirements specified in this standard are applicable to measuring relays and protection equipment in a new condition and all tests specified are type tests only. The object of this standard is to state: - definitions of terms used; - test severity levels; - test equipment; - test set-up; - test procedure; - criteria for acceptance; - test report.

La CEI 60255-11:2008 spécifie les prescriptions générales pour les alimentations auxiliaires en courant continu et en courant alternatif, pour les relais de mesure et les dispositifs de protection des systèmes de protection, y compris les équipements de contrôle, de supervision et d'interface avec le processus utilisés avec ces systèmes. L'objectif de ces essais est de confirmer que le matériel sous test fonctionnera correctement lorsqu'il sera alimenté et soumis à des creux, des coupures et des composantes alternatives (ondulations) de tension. Les principales différences par rapport à l'édition précédente sont les suivantes: ajout essais creux et coupures en c.a.; ajout essais coupure rétablissement progressifs; ajout essais inversion de polarité en c.c.

Ta del serije IEC 60255 določa splošne zahteve za napajalnike z enosmernim ali izmeničnim tokom za merilne releje in zaščitno opremo za zaščito napajalnih sistemov, vključno z opremo za nadzor, spremljanje in vmesniško procesno opremo, ki se uporablja s temi sistemi. Ta del temelji na: - IEC 61000-4-11 za upade napetosti izmeničnega toka, kratke prekinitve in spremembe napetosti; - IEC 61000-4-17 za valovanja napetosti; - IEC 61000-4-29 za upade napetosti enosmernega toka, kratke prekinitve in spremembe napetosti. Cilj preskusov je potrditi, da bo preskušana oprema ob dovajanju elektrike in ob izpostavljenosti upadom, prekinitvam in izmeničnim komponentam (valovanju) delovala pravilno. Zahteve, ki jih določa ta standard, veljajo za nove merilne releje in zaščitno opremo; vsi navedeni preskusi pa so le tipski preskusi. Namen tega standarda je navesti: - definicije uporabljenih izrazov; - stopnje natančnosti preskusa; - preskusno opremo; - postavitev preskusa; - preskusni postopek; - merila sprejemljivosti; - poročilo o preskusu.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
