Geotextiles and geotextile-related products - Determination of the resistance to weathering
This standard specifies methods for the exposure of geotextiles and geotextile-related products to weathering conditions more than those of natural weathering. The light sources used shall be fluorescent UV lamps in accordance with ISO 4892-3. This is an index test to differentiate between products with little or no resistance to weathering and those which do have this resistance.

Diese Europäische Norm legt das Verfahren der Bewitterung von Geotextilien und geotextilverwandten Produkten fest, die intensiver sind als die der natürlichen Bewitterung. Als Lichtquellen müssen UV-Leuchtstofflampen nach ISO 4892-3 verwendet werden. Diese Prüfung ist eine Indexprüfung zur Unterscheidung zwischen Produkten mit einer geringen oder keinen Witterungs- beständigkeit und Produkten, die beständig sind.
Géotextiles et produits apparentés - Détermination de la résistance au vieilissement du aux conditions climatiques
La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes d'exposition des géotextiles et des produits apparentés aux géotextiles a des conditions de vieillissement plus intenses que celles du vieillissement naturel du aux conditions climatiques. Les types de sources lumineuses utilisés doivent etre des lampes fluorescentes UV, conformes a l'ISO 4892-3. L'objectif de cet essai de référence est de différencier les produits présentant peu ou pas de résistance a l'exposition aux conditions climatiques de ceux ayant cette résistance.
