Natural rubber latex male condoms
This European Standard specifies requirements for male condoms made from compounded natural rubber latex (referred to in this European Standard as condoms) supplied to consumers and designed to assist in the prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and for contraceptive purposes. Note 1: Guidance on the determination of properties of condoms that have been stored after purchase is given in Annex A, which does not form a normative part of this European Standard. Note 2: Recommendations on the storage of packaged condoms are given in Annex B, which does not form a normative part of this European Standard.

Diese Norm legt Anforderungen an Kondome aus Naturkautschuklatex für Männer bezogen auf diese Europäische Norm als Kondome fest, die an die Verbraucher geliefert werden und als Schutz vor durch Geschlechtsverkehr übertragene Krankheiten und zur Empfängnisverhütung dienen. Anmerkung 1: In Anhang A, der nicht Bestandteil dieser Norm ist, sind Hinweise für die Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Kondomen angegebenen, die nach dem Kauf gelagert worden sind.

La présente norme spécifie les exigences applicables aux préservatifs masculins, réalisés en un latex de caoutchouc naturel formulé, fournis aux consommateurs afin d'aider a la prévention des maladies sexuellement transmissibles et dans un but anticonceptionnel. Note 1: Des conseils sur la détermination des propriétés des préservatifs qui ont été stockés apres achat sont donnés dans l'annexe A, laquelle ne constitue pas une partie normative de la présente norme.
