This European Standard specifies laboratory methods for measuring the aerodynamic and acoustic performance characteristics and energy consumption of assembled exhaust ventilation system packages for a single dwelling. If a component of the package is not physically linked to the others (e.g. air inlets), then it is assumed to have been tested according to the test method related to this component. An example of a typical exhaust package is given in Figure 2.
The object of this European Standard is to provide tested characteristics for a ventilation system package in worst case conditions. It is assumed that better values are achieved on site when the ventilation system package is installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction and within the limits of the test conditions given in this standard.
Safety requirements are given in EN 60335-2-80.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Laborverfahren für die Messung der aerodynamischen und akustischen Leistungskenngrößen sowie des Energieverbrauchs von zusammengesetzten Baueinheiten für Abluftanlagen für eine einzelne Wohnung fest. Wenn ein Bauteil der Baueinheit nicht direkt mit den anderen Bauteilen verbunden ist (z. B. Außen- oder Überströmluftdurchlässe), wird davon ausgegangen, dass dieses Bauteil nach dem dafür gültigen Prüfverfahren geprüft wurde. Ein Beispiel einer typischen Abluft-Baueinheit ist in Bild 2 angegeben.
Zweck dieser Europäischen Norm ist es, Kenngrößen für eine Anlagenbaueinheit zu liefern, die bei Prüfungen unter den ungünstigsten Bedingungen bestimmt wurden. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass bessere Werte erreicht werden, wenn die Anlagenbaueinheit nach den Herstelleranweisungen und innerhalb der in dieser Norm angegebenen Grenzen der Prüfbedingungen vor Ort eingebaut wurde.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie des méthodes de laboratoire pour le mesurage des caractéristiques de performances aérodynamiques et acoustiques et de la consommation d'énergie de kits pour système de ventilation par extraction pour logement individuel. Si un composant du kit n’est pas physiquement lié aux autres (par exemple entrée d’air), il est alors supposé avoir été soumis à essai conformément à la méthode d’essai associée à ce composant. Un exemple d’un kit typique pour extraction est donné à la Figure 2.
L'objet de la présente Norme européenne est de fournir des caractéristiques d’essai d’un kit pour système de ventilation dans des conditions extrêmes. Il est supposé que de meilleures valeurs sont obtenues sur site lorsque le kit pour système de ventilation est installé conformément aux instructions du fabricant et dans les limites des conditions d'essai données dans la présente norme.
Les exigences de sécurité sont données dans l’EN 60335-2-80.

Če komponenta sistema fizično ni povezana z drugimi (npr zunaj/znotraj nameščene naprave za prenos zraka), se domneva, da je bila preskušena v skladu s preskusno metodo, ki velja za to komponento. Primer običajnega odvodnega sistema je prikazan na sliki 2.
Cilj tega standarda je zagotoviti preskušene lastnosti za sistemski paket v najslabših možnih pogojih. Predpostavlja se, da se na mestu uporabe dosežejo boljše vrednosti, ko je sistem nameščen v skladu z navodili proizvajalca in v mejah preskusnih pogojev, navedenih v tem standardu. Varnostne zahteve so navedene v standardu EN 60335-2-80.
