This document specifies laboratory measurement methods for mass and polar moment of inertia of
alpine skis.
If laboratory measurement data are determined and published by the ski manufacturer or other
institutions, standard measurement procedures can be used to ensure comparability.
This document also specifies a tolerance range which can be met by the measurement data of all
manufactured skis, if for the specific model length measurement data are published by the manufacturer
of the ski.
NOTE The appropriate ski length can be given with the published measurement data.
It is not the purpose of this document to evaluate the measurement data with regard to their influence
on the quality of the ski.

Si des r�sultats de mesure sont obtenus en laboratoire et publi�s par le fabricant de skis ou tout autre organisme, des modes op�ratoires de mesure normalis�s peuvent �tre utilis�s pour s'assurer que les r�sultats soient comparables.

Ta dokument določa metodo za laboratorijsko merjenje masnega vztrajnostnega momenta in vztrajnostnega momenta ploskve pri alpskih smučeh.
Če podatke laboratorijskih meritev pridobijo in objavijo proizvajalci smuči ali druge ustanove, je mogoče uporabiti standardne merilne postopke za zagotovitev primerljivosti.
Poleg tega ta dokument določa razpon dovoljenega odstopanja, ki ga lahko dosežejo vsi merilni podatki vseh proizvedenih smuči, če prodajalec smuči objavi podatke meritev za dolžino specifičnega modela.
OPOMBA: Ustrezna dolžina smuči je lahko podana skupaj z objavljenimi merilnimi podatki.
Namen tega dokumenta ni vrednotenje merilnih podatkov z vidika njihovega vpliva na kakovost smuči.

1 Scope
This document specifies laboratory measurement methods for mass and polar moment of inertia of
alpine skis.
If laboratory measurement data are determined and published by the ski manufacturer or other
