Ta dokument vključuje zahteve, s katerimi se dokazuje, da je oprema radarja za sondiranje nivoja v rezervoarjih (TLPR) izdelana tako, da učinkovito uporablja in podpira učinkovito rabo radijskega spektra z namenom preprečevanja škodljivega motenja.
Radarji za sondiranje nivoja v rezervoarjih se uporabljajo za merjenje nivoja v rezervoarjih v številnih industrijskih dejavnostih, povezanih z nadzorom procesov, pri čemer se izmeri količina različnih snovi (večinoma tekočin ali granulatov). • povečanje učinkovitosti, kakovosti in nadzora procesov v industriji;
• izboljšanje okoljskih pogojev v proizvodnih postopkih.
Ta dokument se uporablja za radarje za sondiranje nivoja v rezervoarjih, ki sevajo radiofrekvenčne signale proti površini snovi v zaprtem rezervoarju. Kakršno koli sevanje zunaj rezervoarja nastane zaradi puščanja in se upošteva kot nenamerno sevanje. Ta dokument ne vključuje nujno vseh lastnosti, ki bi jih morda potreboval uporabnik, in ne predstavlja nujno najboljšega mogočega delovanja; uporablja se samo za radarje za sondiranje nivoja v rezervoarjih, ki so nameščeni z namenskimi antenami.
