Bitumen and bituminous binders - Determination of the resistance to hardening under the influence of heat and air - Part 3: RFT method

This European Standard specifies a method for measuring the combined effects of heat and air on a moving thin film of bituminous, binder simulating the hardening which a bituminous binder undergoes during mixing in an asphalt mixing plant. Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Messung der kombinierten Wirkungen von Wärme und Luft auf eine bewegte dünne Schicht eines bitumenhaltigen Bindemittels fest, mit dem die Verhärtung eines bitumenhaltigen Bindemittels während des Mischvorgangs in einer Asphaltmischanlage simuliert wird. Die Prüfung wird als RFT-Verfahren (Rotating Flask Test) bezeichnet. WARNUNG: Die Anwendung dieser Norm kann gefährliche Substanzen, Arbeitsgänge und Ausrüstung einschließen. In der Norm werden nicht alle Sicherheitsprobleme angesprochen, die mit ihrer Anwendung verbunden sind.

La présente norme européenne prescrit une méthode qui permet de mesurer les effets combinés de la chaleur et de l'air sur un film mince de liant bitumineux.Elle simule le durcissement que subit un liant bitumineux au cours du malaxage dans une centrale d'enrobage. L'essai est désigné par RFT, ce qui signifie: Rotating Flask Test.
