This European Standard specifies a method for the quantitative determination of recovered binder and oil distillate in bitumen emulsions composed principally ofa semisolid or liquid bituminous base, water and an emulsifying agent. The method can be used for quantitative determination of recovered binder and oil distillate in bitumen emulsions for specification acceptance, service evaluation, control and research. The method can also be used to obtain residue and oil distillate for further testing.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die quantitative Bestimmung des Bindemittelrückstandes und des Öldestillates in Bitumenemulsionen, die vornehmlich aus einem weichen oder viskosen bitumenhaltigen Bindemittel, Wasser und einem Emulgator bestehen, fest. Das Prüfverfahren kann für die quantitative Bestimmung des Bindemittelrückstands und des Öldestillates in Bitumenemulsionen für Überprüfungen der Normengerechtheit, Eignungsprüfungen, Kontrollprüfungen und für Forschungszwecke verwendet werden.
