Protective clothing - Protection against foul weather
This European prestandard specifies requiremets and test methods applicable to materials and seams of protective clothing against the influence of foul weather as defined in [clause] 3.1. The protective clothing may be proposed and/or used in combination with a thermal lining, but the aforementioned requirements and test methods only apply when the thermal lining is separable from the outer garment of the proposed protective clothing.

Diese Europäische Vornorm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Materialien und Nähte von Schutzkleidung gegen den Einfluß von schlechtem Wetter, wie in 3.1 definiert, fest. Die Schutzkleidung darf in Kombination mit einem Thermofutter empfohlen und/oder verwendet werden. Diese zuvor genannten Anforderungen un Prüfverfahren sind aber nur anwendbar, wenn das Thermofutter von der äußeren Bekleidung der empfohlenen Schutzkleidung entfernt werden kann.

La présente prénorme européenne spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d'essai des matériaux et des coutures des vêtements de protection contre l'influence des intempéries définies en 3.1. Le vêtement de protection peut être proposé et/ou utilisé conjointement avec une doublure thermique mais les exigences et les méthodes d'essai ne s'appliquent que lorsque la doublure thermique peut être séparée du vêtement extérieur du vêtement de protection proposé.
