Manually operated taps for gas burning appliances
This European Standard specifies the safety, construction and performance requirements for manually operated taps and pre-setting devices for gas burning appliances. It also gives the test procedures for evaluating these requirements and information necessary to the purchaser and the user. This standard applies to control taps with a declared operating pressure up to and including 200 mbar for use in appliances for use with gases in accordance with EN 437. This standard does not apply to manually operated shut-off valves conforming to EN 331.
Handbetätigte Einstellgeräte für Gasgeräte
Diese europäische Norm legt neben sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen auch Bau- und Funktionsanforderungen an handbetätigte Einstell- und Voreinstellgeräte für Gasgeräte fest. Zur Bewertung dieser Anforderungen werden Prüfverfahren sowie für Kaüfer und Anwender notwendige Angaben festgelegt. Diese Norm ist auf Einstellgeräte anwendbar, für die ein zulässiger Betriebsdruck bis einschließlich 200 mbar angegeben wird und die in Gasgeräten für Gase nach EN 437 angewendet werden. Sie gilt nicht für handbetätigte Absperrarmaturen in Rohrleitungen nach EN 331.

La présente norme européenne précise les spécification de sécurité, de construction et de fonctionnement des robinets à commande manuel et des organes de préréglage destinés aux appareils utilisant les combustibles gazeux. Elle donne aussi les méthodes d'éssai propres à la vérification de ces exigences et les informations nécessaires à l'acheteur et à l'utilisateur. Elle s'applique aux robinets de réglage dont la pression de service déclarée est inférieure ou égale à 200 mbar pour l'équipement des appareils utilisant les gaz prévus par l'EN 437.
