This European Standard specifies a test method for assessing the fatigue resistance of steel shanks of at least 100 mm in length used for the reinforcement of the waist region of women's shoes and of some men's and children's shoes.
NOTE Steel shanks below 100 mm in length cannot be reliably tested by this method.

ANMERKUNG Stahlgelenke unter 100 mm Länge können mit Hilfe dieses Verfahrens nicht zuverlässig geprüft werden.
