This amendment A2 modifies the European Standard EN 54-7:2000; it was approved by CEN on 29 May 2006.

This document (EN 54-7:2000/A2:2006) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 72 “Fire
detection and fire alarm systems”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2007, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by July 2009.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and
the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).
