This part of EN 957 specifies safety requirements for exercise bicycles with a fixed wheel or without freewheel that have an inertia of > 0,6 kg · m2 in addition to the general safety requirements of EN 957 1 and should be read in conjunction with it.
This part of EN 957 is applicable to stationary training equipment type exercise bicycles with a fixed wheel or with-out freewheel (type 10) (hereafter referred to as training equipment) within the classes S and H.
Any attachment provided with the exercise bicycle with a fixed wheel or without freewheel for the performance of additional exercises are subject to the requirements of EN 957 1.

Dieser Teil der EN 957 legt sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen an Trainingsfahrräder mit starrem Antrieb
oder ohne Freilauf mit einer Trägheit von > 0,6 kg · m 2 fest, zusätzlich zu den allgemeinen
sicherheitstechnischen Anforderungen nach prEN 957-1 und sollte in Verbindung damit gelesen werden.
Dieser Teil der EN 957 gilt für stationäre Trainingsgeräte vom Typ Trainingsfahrräder mit starrem Antrieb oder
ohne Freilauf (Typ 10) (im Folgenden Trainingsgeräte genannt) der Klassen S und H.
Jedes Zusatzgerät, das zur Durchführung zusätzlicher Übungen mit dem Trainingsfahrrad mit starrem Antrieb
oder ohne Freilauf geliefert wird, unterliegt den Anforderungen der prEN 957-1.

En complément des exigences générales de sécurité de l'EN 957-1, la présente partie de l'EN 957 spécifie les exigences de sécurité relatives aux bicyclettes d'exercice à roue fixe ou sans roue libre, d'une inertie supérieure à 0,6 kg ´ m2. Il convient de lire la présente norme conjointement avec l'EN 957-1.
La présente partie de l'EN 957 est applicable aux appareils d'entraînement fixes de type bicyclettes d'exercice à roue fixe ou sans roue libre (type 10) (ci-après appelées "appareils d'entraînement") des classes S et H.
Tous les accessoires fournis avec la bicyclette d'exercice à roue fixe ou sans roue libre dans le but de pratiquer des exercices supplémentaires sont soumis aux exigences de l'EN 957-1.
