Equipment for commercial kitchens - Components for ventilation in commercial kitchens - Part 8: Installations for treatment of cooking fumes - Requirements and testing
This standard applies to installations designed for the treatment of cooking fumes in kitchens and areas used
for processing foodstuffs intended for commercial use from their nature and finish. These installations are
used behind separators according EN Kitchen ventilation-6. It does not apply to household kitchens.
This standard stipulates the requirements covering the construction and operation, including the technical
safety, ergonomic and hygienic features and their testing.
Unless otherwise specified, the requirements of this standard should be checked by way of inspection and/or
measurement.
Additional or alternative national regulations converting installation, appliance requirements and inspection,
maintenance and operation have to be complied with.

Diese Norm gilt für Anlagen zur Aerosol- und Aerosolatnachbehandlung in dem Abluftstrom. Diese sind
Bestandteil von Abluftanlagen von Küchen und anderen lebensmittelverarbeitenden Betrieben, die nach Art
und Ausführung für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt sind. Die Anlagen kommen hinter Abscheidern
nach EN-Küchen Be-und Entlüftung 6 zum Einsatz. Sie gilt nicht für Haushaltsküchen.
Diese Norm legt Anforderungen an die Bau- und Betriebsweise, einschließlich der sicherheitstechnischen,
hygienischen Merkmale und der Prüfung fest.
Sofern nicht anders festgelegt, werden die Anforderungen durch Besichtigung und/oder Nachmessen geprüft.
Ergänzende oder alternative nationale Verordnungen für Installation, Anforderungen; Inspektion und Wartung
müssen erfüllt werden.

La présente norme s'applique aux installations conçues pour le traitement des fumées de cuisson dans les cuisines et autres zones utilisées pour la transformation de produits alimentaires destinés à un usage commercial de par leur nature et leur finition. Ces installations sont installées derrière les séparateurs selon le prEN 16282-6. La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux cuisines domestiques.
La présente norme spécifie les exigences relatives à la construction et au fonctionnement, y compris les caractéristiques techniques de sécurité, d'ergonomie et d'hygiène, ainsi que les essais correspondants.
Sauf spécification contraire, il convient que les exigences de la présente norme soient vérifiées par inspection et/ou mesurage.
Les réglementations nationales complémentaires ou alternatives concernant l'installation, les exigences relatives aux appareils et l'inspection, l'entretien et le fonctionnement sont à respecter.
