Načrtovanje in vgradnja izoliranih vezanih cevnih sistemov za daljinsko ogrevanje
Ta evropski standard opredeljuje pravila za načrtovanje, izračun in namestitev izoliranih vezanih cevnih sistemov za zakopana omrežja za distribucijo in prenos tople vode (cf. Slika 2) s cevnimi spoji v skladu z EN 253, za neprekinjeno operiranje s toplo vodo pri različnih temperaturah do 120ºC in občasnimi najvišjimi temperaturami do 140ºC ter najvišjim notranjim pritiskom 25 barov (nadtlak). Pravilo o uporabi: Za večje dimenzije cevi in pritisk, nižji od 25 barov, se lahko zahteva večja debelina sten, kot je določena v EN 253 za ravne cevi, kolena in cevne priključke T. Načela tega standarda je mogoče uporabiti za izolirane cevne sisteme s pritiski, višjimi od 25 barov, pod pogojem, da se nameni posebna pozornost učinkom tlaka. Sosednje cevi, ki spadajo k omrežju (npr. cevi v vodih, komore z ventili, nadzemni prehodi čez cest, itd.), je mogoče načrtovati in namestiti v skladu s tem standardom. Standard predvideva uporabo obdelane vode, ki je bila z mehčanjem, demineralizacijo, odzračevanjem, dodajanjem kemikalij ali kako drugače obdelana za preprečevanje notranje korozije in oblog v ceveh. Ta standard ne velja za enote, kot so: - črpalke, - izmenjevalniki, - napeljave za kotle, rezervoarje, - napeljave za široko potrošnjo. Vendar pa je treba zagotoviti popolno funkcionalno zmožnost in trajnost takšnih enot, ob upoštevanju vplivov iz sistema daljinskega ogrevanja in drugih vplivov, do katerih pride zaradi pogojev, v katerih so bile nameščene. Navodila za nadzor kakovosti proizvodov ter in situ preskusov spojev so podana v Prilogi A EN 448:2003, v Prilogi D EN 253:2003, v Prilogi A EN 488:2003 in v Prilogi B EN 489:2003. Navodila za varjenje polietilenskih oblog so podana v Prilogi B EN 448:2003. Ocena pričakovane življenjske dobe ob neprekinjenem delovanju pri različnih temperaturah je navedena v Prilogi B EN 253:2003.
