This European Standard describes and specifies the minimum requirements of products of natural origin and products from industrial processes to be used as liming materials in agriculture for raising the pH of soil and water.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt die wichtigen Eigenschaften von natürlich vorkommenden und aus industriellen Prozessen stammenden Produkten, die in der Landwirtschaft als Calcium-/Magnesium-Bodenverbesserungsmittel (Kalkdünger) zur Erhöhung des pH-Wertes von Boden und Wasser anzuwenden sind und legt Mindestanforderungen an diese fest.
Diese Europäische Norm stellt die vollständige Liste von Calcium-/Magnesium-Bodenverbesserungsmitteln auf, die auf deren Neutralisationswerten beruht.
ANMERKUNG Alle übrigen Eigenschaften, die von Bedeutung sind, um den Nutzwert der Calcium-/Magnesium-Bodenverbesserungsmittel beurteilen zu können, unterscheiden sich länderspezifisch. Diese sollten immer angeben werden und der jeweiligen nationalen Gesetzgebung entsprechen.
