Fixed firefighting systems - Components for sprinkler and water spray systems - Part 9: Deluge alarm valves

This part of EN 12259 specifies requirements, test methods, evaluation of conformity and marking of deluge
alarm valves with a nominal size range DN40 to DN250 intended to be used in fire protection water spray
systems.
This European Standard does not cover elastomeric sleeve type valves and does not include rules for design,
installation and maintenance of fire protection water spray systems.
Auxiliary components and attachments to deluge alarm valves are not covered by this part of EN 12259 with the
exception of automatic drain valves.

Der vorliegende Teil von EN 12259 legt die Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, die Konformitätsbewertung und Kennzeichnung von Sprühwasseralarmventilen mit Nennweiten im Bereich von DN40 bis DN250 fest, die für den Einsatz im Brandschutz vorgesehen sind.
Dieses Dokument ist für Ventile mit Klappen und Membranventile anwendbar, es ist nicht für Elastomer-Ringbalgventile anwendbar und schließt keine Regeln für die Konstruktion, den Einbau und die Instand-haltung von Brandschutz Sprühwasseranlagen ein.
Zusatz  und Befestigungsbauelemente für Sprühwasseralarmventile werden in diesem Teil von EN 12259 mit Ausnahme von automatischen Entwässerungsventilen nicht behandelt.

La présente partie de l’EN 12259 spécifie les exigences, les méthodes d’essai, l’évaluation de la conformité et le marquage des soupapes d’alarme déluge ayant une plage de dimensions nominales comprise entre DN40 et DN250, destinées à être utilisées en sécurité incendie.
Le présent document s’applique aux soupapes de type à clapet et de type à diaphragme ; il ne s’applique pas aux soupapes de type à manchon en élastomère et ne contient pas de règles relatives à la conception, à l’installation et à la maintenance des systèmes de protection contre l’incendie à pulvérisation d’eau.
À l’exception des soupapes de vidange automatique, la présente partie de l’EN 12259 ne traite pas des organes auxiliaires ni des fixations aux soupapes d’alarme déluge.

Ta del standarda EN 12259 določa zahteve, preskusne metode, vrednotenje skladnosti in oznake ventilov za poplavne sisteme z nominalno velikostjo od DN40 do DN250, ki so namenjeni za uporabo v sistemih s pršečo vodo za požarno zaščito. Ta evropski standard ne zajema elastomernih vrtljivih zasunov in ne vključuje pravil za projektiranje, namestitev in vzdrževanje sistemov s pršečo vodo za požarno zaščito. Ta del standarda EN 12259 ne zajema dodatnih sestavnih delov ali priključkov na ventile za poplavne sisteme, z izjemo samodejnih drenažnih ventilov.
