This Technical Specification specifies a method for the extraction of water-soluble calcium, magnesium, sodium and sulfur (in the form of sulfates), so that the same extract may be used for the determination of each nutrient required.
The method is solely applicable to fertilizers listed in Regulation (EC) 2003/2003, Annex I (see [1]), for which a declaration of the water-soluble calcium, magnesium, sodium, and sulfur (in the form of sulfates) is provided for in this Regulation.

Diese Technische Spezifikation legt ein Verfahren zur Extraktion von wasserlöslichem Calcium, Magnesium,
Natrium und Schwefel (in Form von Sulfat) fest, so dass derselbe Extrakt für die Bestimmung jedes
erforderlichen Nährstoffes verwendet werden darf.
Das Verfahren gilt ausschließlich für in der Verordnung (EG) 2003/2003, Anhang I (siehe [1]) aufgeführte
Düngemittel, für die die Angabe des wasserlöslichen Calciums, Magnesiums, Natriums und Schwefels (in
Form von Sulfat) vorgeschrieben ist.

La présente spécification technique spécifie une méthode d’extraction du calcium, du magnésium, du sodium et du soufre (sous la forme de sulfates) solubles dans l’eau, de sorte que le même extrait puisse être utilisé pour le dosage de chaque élément nutritif requis.
La méthode est uniquement applicable aux engrais répertoriés dans le règlement (CE) 2003/2003, Annexe I (voir [1]), pour lesquels une déclaration des formes solubles dans l’eau du calcium, du magnésium, du sodium et du soufre (sous la forme de sulfates) est prévue dans ce règlement.

Ta tehnična specifikacija opredeljuje metodo ekstrakcije v vodi topnega kalcija, magnezija, natrija in žvepla (v obliki sulfatov), da se lahko isti ekstrakt uporablja za določanje vsake potrebne hranilne snovi. Ta metoda velja za gnojila, našteta v Prilogi I (glej [1]) Uredbe (ES) 2003/2003, za katera je v tej uredbi predpisana deklaracija o v vodi topnem kalciju, magneziju, natriju in žveplu (v obliki sulfatov).

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 19 October 2009 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
