Diese Internationale Norm legt Eigenschaften von Sechskantschrauben mit Gewinde bis Kopf, mit Gewinden von M 5 bis M 64 und Produktklasse C fest. ANMERKUNG: Die Sechskantschrauben entsprechen denen nach ISO 4016 und haben lediglich Gewinde bis Kopf. Falls in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in dieser Norm aufgeführten benötigt werden, sollten diese den entsprechenden ISO-Normen entnommen werden, z.B. ISO 724, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-1 und ISO 4759-1.

Si, dans des cas particuliers, des spécifications autres que celles figurant dans la présente Norme internationale sont requises, il est recommandé de les prendre dans les Normes internationales existantes, par exemple ISO 724, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-1 et ISO 4759-1.
