CLC/TC 114 - Surface transport electrotechnical systems equipment: Electrotechnical Aspects
To produce harmonized European standards in the field of surface transport information, management and control systems equipment. The work intends to address all present and future European systems and related equipment in due regard of international standardization work and results. These systems will essentially deal with information, control and management in the transport fields, with communication between vehicles, inter-communication between fixed and mobile installations, with management systems and with all effects induced by these systems to the electrotechnical environment (e.g. EMC, electrical safety, etc.). In a first instance the work will not address directly railway systems.
