CECC/UG CAUG - Civil Avionics Users Group (CAUG)
The Civil Avionics Users Group will comprise Civil Avionics Equipment Manufacturers and Users, in the CENELEC area. The main functions of the CAUG shall be summarized as follows: - Review draft CECC specifications when relevant to the Group's interest, and comment when necessary - Request from CECC actions related to specification of components, test conditions, test procedures and related matters - Promote standard environmental conditions for components for civil avionics usage - Promote components standardization within CECC and civil avionics market - Define standard environmental conditions for components for civil avionics usage - Promote the concept of providing sources of supply of qualified components during the life cycle of avionics equipment - Prepare and maintain a list of CECC components suitable for use in civil avionics equipment - Investigate technical matters relating to components, and their usage in civil avionics equipment, and issue technical information papers for use by CECC Working Groups as well as external organizations
