WG 1 - Revision of EN 45501
The existing harmonised standard, published in 2014, bases on many of the specifications of OIML recommendation R 76, in its 2006 version. The mentioned OIML recommendation is under revision. If it will be ready a revision of EN 45501 is expected. Independent of the status of OIML R76 it seems to be helpful to discuss beforehand the changes in the state-of-the-art of weighing instruments. Therefore a working group preparing a list of meaningful and necessary changes of the current EN 45501 seems to be reasonable
