CEN/TC 292/WG 7 - Characterization of waste - Ecotoxicological properties
To provide standardised test methods for eco-toxicologal properties of raw waste and water extracts from waste. The aim of the working group is not to develop new eco-toxicological tests (CEN/TC 230, ISO/TC 147 and ISO/TC 190 activities) but to draw up standard(s) which will describe the necessary steps to be performed before the eco-toxicological tests themselves. Several items must be considered such as: taking the sample, transport, storage, preparation of raw waste sample and preparation of water extract to be tested.
