ECISS/TC 102/WG 10 - Methods for the analysis of steels by ICP-OES
To propose, validate and revise routine and referee methods for the analysis of steels by wet chemistry analysis (gravimetry, titration, spectrophotometry, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), etc.). The selection of the topics to be handled are based either on the result of enquiries launched by CEN/TC 459/SC 2 or on proposals made within the WG. WG 10 also aims to prepare guidelines related with the spectrometric techniques.

The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) is a public standards organization that brings together the national standardization bodies of 34 European countries. CEN provides a platform for developing European Standards (ENs) and other technical documents in relation to various products, materials, services, and processes, supporting the European Single Market.
A Working Group in CEN is a specialized group responsible for developing standards or technical work within a defined scope. These bodies bring together international experts to create consensus-based standards that support global trade, safety, and interoperability.
