WG 1 - Roadmap for AM standards

WG 1 is a Technical Committee within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is named "Roadmap for AM standards" and is responsible for: It will lay down the priority standards for European additive manufacturing industry. The content of the roadmap will guide the preparation, at a later stage, of 5 draft standards by Academics and Universities, in the frame of EU-funded "S-AM" (Standardization for Additive Manufacturing) project, which arises from SMP-STAND-2024-ESOS-03-IBA. This committee has published 1136 standards.

WG 1 develops CEN standards in the area of Information technology. The scope of work includes: It will lay down the priority standards for European additive manufacturing industry. The content of the roadmap will guide the preparation, at a later stage, of 5 draft standards by Academics and Universities, in the frame of EU-funded "S-AM" (Standardization for Additive Manufacturing) project, which arises from SMP-STAND-2024-ESOS-03-IBA. Currently, there are 1136 published standards from this technical committee.
