WG 5 - Fire and Rescue PPE

WG 5 is a Technical Committee within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is named "Fire and Rescue PPE" and is responsible for: Emergency responders PPE’ is focused on improving the personal protective equipment (PPE) used by emergency responders. They will work to achieve this by developing advice and guidance, functional scenarios (to define needs), frameworks, and technical reports. The goal is to enable standards committees, industry, suppliers, and end-users to enhance the protective capabilities of PPE and complete PPE systems specifically for emergency responders This committee has published 435 standards.

WG 5 develops CEN standards in the area of Information technology.
