Playground equipment and surfacing - Part 10: Additional specific safety requirements and test methods for fully enclosed play equipment
This new part of EN 1176 applies to fully enclosed play equipment intended for installation inside andoutside buildings, and for children up to 14 years old. The purpose of this standard is to provideadditional safety requirements covering particularities of these structures, such as exits and escaperoutes, visibility, external 'climbability', containment walls/netting in relation to safety area, ignitionresistance, specific equipments/components, impact-absorbing surfaces, signage, specific inspection,maintenance and monitoring procedures.

Dieser Teil der Norm gilt für vollständig umschlossene Spielgeräte, die für die Aufstellung innerhalb und außerhalb von Gebäuden und für Kinder bis 14 Jahren vorgesehen sind, siehe 3.1.
Der Zweck dieser Norm ist es, zusätzliche sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen festzulegen, die die Besonderheiten dieser Konstruktionen, wie z. B. Ausgänge und Fluchtwege, Einsehbarkeit, äußere „Bekletterbarkeit“, Begrenzungswände/Netze in Bezug auf Sicherheitsbereich, Beständigkeit gegen Entzündbarkeit, spezielle Geräte/Bauteile, stoßdämpfende Böden, Beschilderung, spezielle Inspektion und Wartung berücksichtigen.

La présente partie de la norme s'applique aux équipements de jeu totalement fermés installés tant a l'intérieur qu'a l'extérieur des bâtiments et destinés a des enfants jusqu'a 14 ans (voir 3.1).
La présente Norme a pour objectif la fourniture d'exigences de sécurité supplémentaires couvrant les spécificités de ces structures, telles que les sorties et voies d'évacuation, la visibilité, l'aptitude a l'"escalade" de l'extérieur, les parois de confinement/filets en relation avec la zone de sécurité, résistance a l'inflammation, équipements/éléments spécifiques, surfaces d'amortissement de l'impact, signalétique, procédures spécifique de contrôle, de maintenance et de surveillance.
