This International Standard specifies the requirements of enamelled round copper winding wire of class 200 with a sole coating based on polamide-imide resin. Class 200 is a thermal class that requires a minimum temperature index of 200 and a heat shock temperature of at least 220 °C. The temperature in degrees Celsius corresponding to the temperature index is not necessarily that at which it is recommended that the wire be operated and this will depend on many factors, including the type of equipment involved. The range of nominal conductor diameters covered by this standard is:
Grade 1: 0,071 mm up to and including 1,600 mm;
Grade 2: 0,071 mm up to and including 0,500 mm.
The nominal conductor diameters are specified in clause 4 of IEC 317-0-1.

Amandma A2:2010 je dodatek k standardu SIST EN 60317-26:2001.
Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za emajliran bakren okrogel vodnik razreda 200 z enojnim premazom, osnovanim na poliamidimidni smoli. Razred 200 je toplotni razred, ki zahteva minimalni temperaturni indeks 200 °C in temperaturo toplotnega šoka najmanj 220 °C. Temperatura v stopinjah Celzija, ki ustreza temperaturnemu indeksu, ni nujno ta, pri kateri se priporoča delovanje vodnika, saj je le-to odvisno od več dejavnikov, vključno s tipi uporabljene opreme. Razpon nominalnih premerov prevodnikov, ki jih zajema ta standard, je:
stopnja 1: 0,071 mm do vključno 1,600 mm;
stopnja 2: 0,071 mm do vključno 0,500 mm.
Nominalni premeri prevodnikov so določeni v klavzuli 4 IEC 317-0-1.

This amendment A2 modifies the European Standard EN 60317-26:1996; it was approved by CENELEC on
2010-06-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which
stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.
Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the Central Secretariat or to any CENELEC member.
This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

The text of document 55/1183/FDIS, future amendment 2 to IEC 60317-26:1990, prepared by IEC TC 55,
Winding wires, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as
amendment A2 to EN 60317-26:1996 on 2010-06-01.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN and CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
