SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers woven cotton fabrics saturated with either asphalt or coal-tar pitch that may be used respectively with asphalts conforming to Specifications D 312 or D 449, or coal-tar pitches conforming to Specification D 450 in the membrane system of roofing or waterproofing.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
