INTRODUCTION
This consumer safety specification is intended to mitigate potential safety hazards associated with
a child’s use of an infant bouncer seat and thereby minimize the risk of injury or death. The specific
hazards addressed by this standard are product disassembly/collapse, stability, and falls from elevated
surfaces.
