This part of IEC 62841 applies to hand-held hammers.
Tools covered by this document include percussion hammers and rotary hammers,
including rotary hammers with the capability to rotate only with the percussion system
disengaged (drill only mode).
This document does not apply to drills and impact drills.
NOTE 101 Drills and impact drills are covered by IEC 62841-2-1.
This document does not apply to tools that are designed exclusively for driving fasteners,
such as palm nailers.

This document specifies the dimensions and technical requirements for ratcheting wrenches used in assembly or disassembly of hexagonal and double hexagonal fasteners. NOTE The wrenches covered by this document are the ones identified in ISO 1703 under reference No.1 1 01 07 0, 1 1 01 08 0, 1 1 01 09 0 and 1 1 02 19 0, 1 1 02 20 0. NOTE The wrenches according to this document are not intended for uses with impact stress of the wrench.

NOTE The wrenches covered by this document are the ones identified in ISO 1703:2005 under reference numbers 1 1 02 03 0 and 1 1 02 04 0. ISO 10103:2018 covers technical specifications for the test torque of these products. All other technical specifications are given in ISO 1711‑1.

system.

ISO 2725-1:2017 specifies dimensions, the designation, and the marking of hand-operated square drive sockets with operating end and having a hexagonal or double hexagonal form in accordance with ISO 1174‑1. NOTE Hand-operated square drive sockets covered by this document are the ones identified in ISO 1703 under reference numbers 2 1 02 01 0. ISO 13778:2017 specifies requirements of single-head engineer's wrenches with nominal width across flats from 3,2 to 120. It specifies the maximum outside dimensions of heads and gives the test torque values. The "lower torque application" designation is in accordance with the smaller head dimensions.
